About Us
Turner Inn is a privately
owned (non franchise), 1950's style motel reminiscent of those made
famous
by Route 66. Mountainair and Turner's are at the geographic center of New Mexico, at an elevation of 6500'. Situated on historic US Highway 60, one of the earliest (1926) US coast-to-coast highways, we are 2 hours from Santa Fe by either Interstate or the historic Salt Missions and Turquoise Trails, and 1-1/2 hours to the Albuquerque Airport. We are known for our clean rooms, and unique "step back in time" ambiance. Many guests refer to our rooms as like a "return to Grandma's house." We count many regularly returning guests among "Snowbirds" and other repeat visitors to the Southwest. Don't forget to ask
us about
local events and nearby sights.
